David Hernandez: “All is fair in love, war and entertainment.”

David Hernandez spoke to the media after his completely unfair elimination yesterday and now I am more disappointed than ever.

Why? David was going to sing “Yesterday” next week with the acoustic guitar player seated next to him. You know he would’ve nailed that one…

And now you know that someone else is going to snatch that one right up…

David said the next week he planned to do Chaka Khan’s “Ain’t Nobody.” Would that be dance or disco week? Maybe the year of his birth?...

Unlike the delusional people eliminated before him, David understands why he was eliminated—song choice. But the song that did him in, “I Saw Her Standing There,” was not his first choice. It was “Let it Be,” but Brooke won the drawing out of the hat. His next choice was “Got to Get You Into My Life,” but Syesha did that one. I think the two of them switching would have actually been a good idea…

On “The View” Thursday morning, Elisabeth Hasselbeck theorized that the producers wanted to get rid of him because of all the scandal, so they fixed the competition. But David doesn’t blame his departure on that. He told “USA Today,” “If this is the worst thing that people say about me in my career, then I think I’ll be OK.” David said his fellow contestants helped him cope by keeping the TV off and not letting him on the Internet…

David did speak to David Foster after the show and told him he would love to work with him. Foster’s reply, “We’ll see what happens.”

The biggest lesson David learned: “All is fair in love, war and entertainment”…
