According to “People,” Ryan spent most of the night apologizing for his comments about Paula being prettier than Simon’s puppet. The biggest “scoop” from last night’s show is the audience’s disappointment in the Bon Jovi performance. I meant to warn you guys about how subdued it was going to be, but I forgot. I guess I should have sent a note to the audience instead. Fans were screaming so loud before the performance that the stage manager asked them to save it until Ryan introduced them. When the song started, the fans “sighed loudly,” according to “People,” and sat down. “Entertainment Weekly” and “People” reported that it was so quiet during the commercial break when the band was leaving the stage that Blake yelled out, “Bon Jovi, y’all!” which got the crowd back on their feet…
