Justin Becomes an "Idiot"

The announcement was made this week that Justin Guarini will join the cast of “American Idiot” March 1st. He will play Will.

Director and co-book writer, Michael Mayer, said in a press release, “Justin blew us away in his audition and I am thrilled to have him join the company of ‘American Idiot.’”

Justin made his Broadway debut in 2010 in the musical version of “Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.”

I presume this means that he won’t be co-hosting TV Guide Network’s “Idol” coverage this season, but I haven't confirmed that yet…
