The Scoop on Paula's New CD: Boo Hissss!!!

“Billboard” is reporting that Paula Abdul’s new album will feature remixes of some of Paula’s hits, as well as new songs.

Remixes? Boo Hisssssss!!!

Paul Oakenfold and Akon are working on remixes of “Dance Like There’s No Tomorrow.” Double boo hisssss!!!

We don’t want remixes. We want new stuff!

Speaking of “Dance,” the magazine reports that Oliver Leiber, who wrote and produced “Forever Your Girl” and “The Way That You Love Me,” did “additional vocal production” on the song.

I think we all know what that means…

It also means that if Paula goes on tour—which she is considering—we’ll get lots of lip-synching, but I don’t care. Paula has been offered a chance to appear during the “Idol” tour this summer, but she said she has to have the “visuals and the staging” and the Idol tour doesn’t allow for that. Paula promises she has “a lot of cool ideas.”

As for her new album, Paula hopes to have another single out by the end of “Idol” then release two more singles with the album streeting before Christmas…

Christmas? Paula, you’re killing me here, but I have to say it. Boo Hissssss!!!
