Tour Troubles?

What do you do when you have a sold-out tour? You raise ticket prices for the next one, of course.

But what if the people on the next tour aren’t as good as the ones you had last year? People don’t buy the more expensive tickets, making the tour a dud.

Just ask the people behind this year’s Idols Live Concert Tour…

Derek passed me a story from TVgasm.com that called the tour “the lamest, least successful tour yet.”

According to the report, a pair of prime floor-seat tickets for the Minneapolis show with a face value of $70 each sold on eBay for a grand total of $5.70. YIKES!

Granted, the Minneapolis concert comes just days after the tragic bridge collapse; but that’s still pretty bad.

A Minneapolis ticket agency owner said, “This has been the weakest seller so far” of all the Idol tours. “It comes down to who the Idols are and this year nobody seems to care about them.”

Like I said, YIKES!
