LaKisha Goes Home...

LaKisha Jones received a rousing welcome yesterday as she performed at the Michigan state Capitol.

LaKisha, who is a native of Flint, was greeted by Gov. Jennifer Granholm and hundreds of fans as she performed “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” and “God Bless the Child.”

She is on a homecoming trip through Michigan before she goes back to Hollywood for tour rehearsals.

LaKisha said she plans to live in Houston, where she lived for six years before moving to Baltimore for a bank teller job.
