Blake speaks...

So what did Blake do after learning he wasn’t the American Idol? He partied at the Sky Bar in Hollywood until 3:15 a.m. and then got 45 minutes of sleep before beginning the media frenzy…

“Entertainment Weekly” asked him if he wanted to speak out against him and Jordin having to sing the same song. His response? “I don’t care—it is what it is. You have your good, your bad, and your in-between”…

Blake once again pointed out the contradictions of the judges on his arrangements, since they didn’t like “Keep Me Hangin’ On” and loved “You Give Love a Bad Name.” “You never know—you can’t win, you can’t lose”…

So what’s next for Blake? He’s already worked with Nick Hexum from 311 on a song he’s written and one that Hexum and Kevin Griffin from Better Than Ezra put together. He would really like to work with producer BT.

As for his time on “Idol”? He told “EW,” “The experience has been so amazing. I can’t even explain in words. It’s bittersweet right now, because it’s over. Two seconds before I got on stage, it was like, ‘It’s done—this is the last time I’ll step on the Idol stage.’ The journey was truly a blessing”…
