Smitty Says, Vote For Jordin!

So now I guess we know where Jordin Sparks gets all that confidence...

It seems that Brandon and Melinda are not the only background singers in the top 24. Jordin, the 17-year-old dynamo, sang back-up for Michael W. Smith on his 2005 and 2006 Christmas tours. Now Smith is campaigning for Sparks on his website.

I find it interesting that no one has ever mentioned her background singing before. Could it be that "Idol" doesn't hold Smith in the same regard as Christina or Usher?
