Ladies and gentlemen, mark your calendars…

FOX announced today that “American Idol” will premiere January 18^th at 8 p.m. with a two-hour episode. Part two of the premiere will air Thursday, January 19^th at 8 p.m. with an hour-long episode.

“Idol” will also air a special episode Sunday, January 22^nd after the NFC Championship Game.
