Why Is Everybody Picking on Scotty McCreery?

I’m thinking Scotty McCreery might be thinking of warming up that low voice of his to do a chorus of the oldie, “Charlie Brown” and sing “Why’s everybody always pickin’ on me?”

As for the answer to that question, I honestly have no idea…

Friday, one of the top three stories on MSN.com’s homepage was Scotty’s “lip-synching fiasco” at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Scotty’s song started before he started “singing,” so he was revealed to be lip-synching.

So what?

EVERY performer in the parade lip synchs. It’s just not technically possible for them to actually sing. And with all the commotion and the people cheering, it’s totally understandable how a young performer like Scotty could make that mistake. I say give the kid a break. I've seen seasoned performers make this very same mistake over the years...

If you want to see the “fiasco,” you can see it here courtesy of TMZ.com…
