Top 5 Performance Show: Who's Going Home?

First of all, let me give kudos to Sheryl Crow for doing such a good job mentoring the contestants this week. Her suggestions were good and I love that she wasn’t afraid to sing with the Idols. I kind of wish she had voiced her concerns about Haley’s first song a little louder thought…

And now to the big question. Who’s going home? It’s time for America to do the right thing and send Jacob home. But will they this time? Yes, I think they will. If Haley hadn’t nailed her second song, I would say he had a chance. But I think he’s definitely gone this week. And I did some voting of my own—for the first time this season—to make sure it happens.

I still don’t think Haley has a shot at winning, but she definitely deserves to stick around another week. Actually, she deserves to make it further than that, but I think it will be extremely hard for her to break up the trio of Lauren, James and Scotty…
