Breaking News: The Numbers Are In on "Idol Gives Back"

This just in from FOX…

“Idol Gives Back” raised almost $45 million. The proceeds will go to various US and international charities including the Children’s Health Fund, Feeding America, Malaria No More, Save the Children’s US Programs and the United Nations Foundation.

This figure does not include proceeds from iTunes, so that number will go up. Plus, donations are still being accepted on the American Idol website and by telephone at 1-877-IDOL-AID.
