Will Paula Be "Dancing" This Spring?

On the same day I lobbied for Paula Abdul to return to TV in my “Idol” column, TMZ.com is reporting that ABC has made her a very lucrative offer.

The website is reporting that ABC has offered her a $1 million development deal if she participates in this season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

The report also says that the network would allow her to participate as a judge on Simon Cowell’s “The X Factor.”

“Stars” begins in March, so if the report is true, Paula would need to make a decision soon. It has long been reported that she wants to compete on the show.

I, for one, hope it is true. We need her back on our TVs…
