So What Happened With Joanna?

So why was Joanna Pacitti disqualified? FOX and “Idol” are both being quiet about that one, but the Internet is not…

Although nothing is confirmed, the prevailing theory has to do with her relationship to two 19 Entertainment executives. Of course, 19 is the company behind all things “Idol.”

Two weeks ago, “Star Magazine” reported that Joanna was close friends with and at one time lived in the same building as two 19 execs. Today’s article says one of them even used to be her manager. You can read it here.

Again, it’s important to point out that there has been no confirmation that this is the reason, but it certainly sounds like a valid one to me. And if it is the reason, the show never should have let her get so far. Someone had to know all of this before “Star” said anything. Did they really think in a world of TMZ and VotefortheWorst.com that no one would find out?

As I said in my earlier post, Joanna’s disqualification opens up a Wild Card spot because I believe the show intended to put her through as a ringer. But when these stories came to light, the ringer backfired on them and they had to let her go…

By the way, Joanna is also rumored to be dating Mark Ballas of “Dancing With the Stars.” Maybe we’ll see her show up there next…
