Blake Returns to "Idol"

I meant to mention this as a rumor when I updated the blog yesterday.

But this morning, it's been confirmed, so I am happy to pass it along to you now...

Blake Lewis will debut his new single "How Many Words" on Thursday's "Idol" results show.

I don't think I even have to tell you how excited I am about this. I've been really worried that the people at 19/Arista were just going to ditch Blake, but this shows that is far from the case--especially since this is the show that reveals the top 12 and lots of people should be watching.

And since "How Many Words" has such an 80s vibe, it will fit in perfectly with 80s week on the show.

This makes me not even mind the hourlong results show so much. In fact, I'm looking forward to it...
