So who's going home?

Michael Kors, one of the judges on “Project Runway,” likes to use the word “underwhelmed” when he’s not impressed with what the contestants have to offer. I would have to use that word for this show…

So, who’s going home? It’s important to remember that this point in the competition is known to produce surprises. In season three, LaToya London was eliminated instead of Jasmine Trias. And I don’t think I have to remind anyone of what happened last season with Chris Daughtry…

That’s why I think Jordin is the only one who’s absolutely safe. People may rally around someone else (like Blake) and not vote for people they think might be safe (like Melinda).

That’s why I’m going to do whatever I can to keep my favorite—that would be Blake—in the competition. Regardless of his weak performances tonight, he is the most original Idol contestant ever and deserves to make the final three. And he should give a big hug to whoever edits the recap, because they made him sound pretty good…

It’s time for LaKisha to go…

Don’t forget that tonight is the last night to vote in the Songwriting competition. You can vote at www.americanidol.com. You must register your e-mail address and then you can rate each of the 20 songs…

And don’t forget to share your thoughts on tonight’s performances…
