In other chart news, Carrie Underwood’s “I’ll Stand By You” held strong at #6, but Kelly took a tumble to #12 (Maybe those rumors hurt her?). Daughtry’s “Home” crept up to #19. And it was a good news, bad news week for Kimberley Locke as “Change” moved to #10 on the AC chart, but her album, “Based On a True Story,” didn’t even crack the top 100…

It looks like that Sanjaya appearance on “Hannah Montana” is pretty close to a done deal. Billy Ray Cyrus told “Access Hollywood,” “I’m going to look forward to the little fellow coming on and doing his role on ‘Hannah Montana.’ It is not chiseled in stone but yeah, we’ve had the conversation. Everybody’s cool on it. Everybody’s cool on it and everybody wants to do it”…

Remember Sherman Pore? He was the 64-year-old who auditioned this season so he could sing “You Belong to Me” for his late wife. Well now he’s releasing an album of standards, “For My Lady Love,” with a portion of the proceeds going to City of Hope for cancer research, treatment and education. Pore will also be an ambassador for the organization…

“Idol” Executive Producers Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick have backed out of producing the Emmys in September saying their current schedule did not allow them to do it. I’m really sad about this, because I was looking forward to what they were going to do with it. They have been replaced by Emmy and Grammy awards veteran Ken Erlich. The Emmys are scheduled for September 16th…

Tamyra Gray, who shockingly finished fourth in season one, will join the cast of “Rent” on Broadway May 29th. She’ll be joined by original players Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp…

Jessica Sierra, a top 10 finalist from season four, was arrested April 29th in Tampa on felony battery charges for allegedly hitting a man on the head with a heavy glass at a café. Sierra, who is 21, was booked on a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and possession of cocaine and introduction of contraband into a correctional facility…
