Didi Benami
Hometown: Knoxville, TN
Currently Resides: Los Angeles, CA
Age: 23
Didi is best known for nailing “Terrified,” a song written by Kara DioGuardi and recorded by Katharine McPhee.

Crystal Bowersox
Hometown: Elliston, OH
Currently Resides: Toledo, OH
Age: 24
Crystal first burst on the “Idol” scene with her amazing rendition of “(You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman.”

Lacey Brown
Hometown: Amarillo, TX
Currently Resides: Amarillo, TX
Age: 24
We were introduced to Lacey when the show used her rendition of “What a Wonderful World” for a montage.

Michelle Delamor
Hometown: Miami, FL
Currently Resides: Miami, FL
Age: 22
Our only real look at Michelle came from Group Day. She was part of the group, “Faith” that did “Irreplaceable.”

Katelyn Epperly
Hometown: West Des Moines, IA
Currently Resides: West Des Moines, IA
Age: 19
In Hollywood, we saw her do “Something to Talk About” and “Bubbly,” but we mostly know her from her story about her Dad leaving her mom shortly before her Chicago audition.

Paige Miles
Hometown: Naples, FL
Currently Resides: Houston, TX
Age: 24
I don’t remember hearing a single note from Paige, but when she was chosen for the Top 24, Simon said that she was a better singer than she knew.

Siobhan Magnus
Hometown: Cape Cod, MA
Currently Resides: Marstons Mills, MA
Age: 20
She is most known for being a member of Destiny’s Wild, one of the groups who did “Bad Romance” on Group Day.

Ashley Rodriguez
Hometown: Chelsea, MA
Currently Resides: Chelsea, MA
Age: 22
Ashley was another member of the group, Faith, and she sang “Battlefield” in Hollywood. Simon told her she had “it” after her audition.

Lilly Scott
Hometown: Littleton, CO
Currently Resides: Denver, CO
Age: 20
Lilly caught our ears in Hollywood with her scorching rendition of “Lullaby of Birdland.”

Katie Stevens
Hometown: Middlebury, CT
Currently Resides: Middlebury, CT
Age: 17
Katie is best known as the girl with the Alzheimer’s-stricken grandmother, but she has also delivered solid performances, including “For Once In My Life.”

Haeley Vaughn
Hometown: Fort Collins, CO
Currently Resides: Fort Collins, CO
Age: 16
Haeley got a lot of camera time in Hollywood, probably because of that infectious smile. She is probably best known for her performance of “I’m Yours” with her guitar.

Janell Wheeler
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Currently Resides: Tampa, FL
Age: 24
Janell turned heads immediately at her audition with “House of the Rising Sun.” She also did well with “American Boy,” but she’s probably best known for saying she blew it after her voice troubles hurt her final individual performance.


We’ll see which of the 12 rises to the top and which of them crumbles tomorrow night in a special two-hour episode beginning at 8 on FOX…
