Kris Signs on the Dotted Line

19 Entertainment made it official today, announcing that it has signed Kris Allen and “licensed his recordings” to Jive Records.

In the official press release, Kris said, “Everyone's been asking me what it's going to sound like. It will be very similar to what you heard from me on the show -- definitely in the pop/rock genre.”

Jive has done well by Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta, so I think Kris will be okay.

I look for Adam Lambert to sign with 19 and RCA any day now…
