Daughtry Returns to the Idol Stage

So, it’s probably no surprise that since it’s Rock Week, the former Idol returning to the stage for this week’s results show is Chris Daughtry, who with his band, Daughtry, will be debuting the first single from their next album. The song is appropriately called “It’s No Surprise.”

No Doubt will also be performing.

The surprise is Slash as the mentor. Yes, he’s a legendary guitarist, but serving as a mentor for a singing competition? I’m not completely sure about that one…
