A "Tri-State Idol" Reminder

Just wanted to remind everyone about the “Tri-State Idol Competition” this Thursday (April 23rd) at 4 p.m. at the Paramount Arts Center.

There’s no age limit and registration is just $5. To enter, go to the Paramount website here.

The winner gets a chance to sing at intermission of “Ain’t Misbehavin’ and will go backstage after the show to meet Ruben Studdard and Frenchie Davis, plus they’ll get four tickets to the show.

Contestants will sing up to a minute of an a capella song in front of the judges. The top 12 finalists will have a video of their performance posted on the Paramount YouTube site for online viewing/voting beginning Friday morning.

If you just want to watch the action, tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids and will be available at the door beginning at 3:30 p.m.
