Jordin’s Familiar Tune

Did anyone else think Jordin Sparks’ rendition of the National Anthem before the Super Bowl sounded familiar?

Now I know there are only so many ways to sing the National Anthem, but to me Jordin sounded like she was trying to do a nearly exact copy of Whitney Houston’s iconic rendition from 1991—only in a lower key.

I’m not saying that means Jordin was bad. It just disappoints me a little…
