The consensus across the Internet this morning was that last night’s show was rather boring. Though I agree there were some snoozeworthy moments, I thought the show as a whole was pretty good for an opener…

Another thing that just about everyone agreed on (including me) is that the semifinal round is too early for a theme. I always liked watching the contestants hang themselves on current songs. Plus, it gave us a chance to see what genre they identify themselves with…

So what was the buzz on who’s going home? Most sites agreed with me about Jason Yeager and Garrett. But many people added Chikezie to the hit list for his attitude toward Simon.
